The purpose of this course is to impart the basic skills required to use AutoCAD for effective 2D drafting and plotting. This course combines instructor demonstration/explanation with the completion and review of relevant hands-on exercises by attendees. Appropriate time will be allowed to review the ‘best practices’ for implementing AutoCAD as a replacement for manual drafting methods.
As a minimum, those attending this course should have precision manual 2D drafting/design experience and competence in using MS Windows-based application

The aim of this course is to introduce the essential concepts and practical application of 3DS MAX 2010. The practical exercises are intended to provide you with a broad grounding and how best to use the 3DS MAX 2010 features. There are also useful reviews and answer sessions to ensure your understanding of the new concepts.
The user will need a general knowledge of 3D Modelling concepts and familiarity with 2D and 3D drawing or modelling program. It is also assumed that this user will have a general knowledge of design concepts, together with some basic Windows operating system familiarity.
